On August 29th, the famous and very talented Michael Jackson would have been 60 years old. At the National Portrait Gallery in London, had launched a large exhibition which involves information about Michael Jackson, music and fashion to honour the singer.
Liverpool Biennial
This year is the Liverpool Biennial’s 10th exhibition which is named “Beautiful World”. At this exhibition, people can view and reflect on social, economic and political problems that affect the whole world. Audiences are invited to see over 40 artists from 22 countries pieces of work as well as art pieces from previous art exhibitions viewed at the Liverpool Biennial.
Charles Rennie Mackintosh: Making the Glasgow Style
As well as art exhibitions found in London, Liverpool and many more areas across the UK, Glasgow also offers great art events to attend. One of the most popular art exhibitions to attend in Glasgow is the Charles Rennie Mackintosh art show. This exhibition took place in Kelvingrove Art Gallery on the 14th August this year. People from all over were able to see the pieces of work by the famous architect and designer. These included stained glass, metalwork, furniture and architecture. This event was held because 2018 marks the 150th year since Charles Rennie Mackintosh was born.
